The job

As our CAD Technician, you'll translate creative vision into precise technical documentation across a portfolio of luxury residential projects. Day-to-day, this means producing a variety of AutoCAD drawing packages — floor plans, elevations, sections, construction details, and material and finish schedules — alongside detailed millwork specifications. Your meticulous file organization and version control are essential, as is the accuracy and management of all project documentation. You'll build SketchUp models to support design development and client presentations, and work closely with the Creative Director, contractors, and trades to ensure every custom element is buildable and beautifully resolved.

The skills
  • Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology, Interior Design Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years in residential design, architecture, or custom millwork drafting
  • Advanced AutoCAD and solid SketchUp skills
  • Strong knowledge of residential construction, millwork fabrication, building codes, and permit processes
  • Exceptional attention to detail, spatial reasoning, and the ability to juggle multiple projects
  • Experience working in the mid-range to high-end residential interior design spheres; you understand the products, projects, and clients
