Junior Interior Designer

THE ROLE

Having a foundational understanding of residential interior design principles, you are able to assist with multiple high-end projects from initial concept through final installation. Working closely with our team of interior designers, you will support the development of design concepts, assist with drawing and specification packages, project administration, and contribute to the successful execution of sophisticated residential interiors.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
  • 2-3 years experience working in interior design; luxury residential preferred
  • Good working knowledge of BC Building Code and bylaws
  • Experience producing and/or contributing to drawing and specifications packages for client presentations, permitting and construction
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and Teamwork.com considered an asset
  • Strong, clear and authentic communication
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Intermediate Interior Designer

THE ROLE

Having a strong understanding of all elements of the design process, you are effectively able to support multiple design projects from concept to completion. Working closely with the Creative Director, you will be responsible for ensuring that design development, drawing and specification packages, procurement, and installation are all executed effectively.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
  • 4+ years demonstrated experience working in private residential interior design
  • Good working knowledge of BC Building Code and bylaws
  • Confident managing and producing drawing and spec packages for client presentations, permitting and construction
  • Experience in the full scope of coordinating and managing interior design projects
  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration and coordination of construction data with contractors, trades, suppliers, etc
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and Teamwork.com considered an asset
  • Experience working in the mid-range to high-end residential interior design spheres; you understand the products, projects, and clients
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle

Having a comprehensive understanding of luxury residential design and a discerning eye for bespoke, clean finishes, you are able to support multiple projects from initial concept through final installation and photography. Working closely with the design team and Creative Director within our design philosophy centered on human wellness and transformation, you will be responsible for ensuring that design development, procurement, and the final design vision are seamlessly executed to the highest standard.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Formal education in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
  • 4+ years demonstrated experience working in private residential interior design
  • Strong aesthetic judgment and understanding of luxury design principles and aesthetics
  • Proficiency in producing drawing packages and technical documentation including specifications
  • Knowledge of furniture construction, textiles, and luxury finishing materials
  • Excellent organizational and project coordination abilities with meticulous attention to detail
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and Teamwork.com considered an asset
  • Experience working in the mid-range to high-end residential interior design spheres; you understand the products, projects, and clients
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
