Having a strong understanding of all elements of the design process, you specialize in furniture, decor and procurement and are effectively able to support multiple design projects from concept to completion. You are a confident leader when it comes to working with clients, vendors and suppliers are comfortable preparing furniture and decor drawing packages including: floor plans, finishes plans, reflected ceiling plans, interior elevations, millwork sections and details. Working closely with the Creative Director, you are responsible for the selection and specification of finishes and fixtures as well as designing, sourcing and specifying furniture and accessories. Previous experience in managing a small team of designers will definitely come in handy.

• A passion for designing beautiful homes
• Formal accreditation in Interior Design, Architecture, or equivalent
• 4+ years demonstrated experience working in private residential interior design and decor
• Experience producing extensive drawings for finely detailed interior decor and millwork
• Good working knowledge of BC Building Code and bylaws
• Confident managing and producing drawing and spec packages for client presentations, permitting and construction
• Experience in the full scope of coordinating and managing interior design projects
• Have previously led a small team of designers to effectively achieve desired outcomes on projects
• Demonstrated experience in contract administration and coordination of construction data with contractors, trades, suppliers, etc
• Excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketchup; experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workspace and Teamwork.com considered an asset
• Experience working in the mid-range to high-end residential interior design spheres; you understand the products, projects, and clients
• A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
